SUMMARY:North Celtic Sea Project - Waterford Wind Energy Project\, Helvick - Tramore
DESCRIPTION:North Celtic Sea is a renewable energy development by Energia proposed to be located between 10km and 25km off the coast of Co. Waterford. \n\n\n\nThis offshore wind project aims to help decarbonise Ireland's energy supply\, reduce emissions and support the achievement of our 2030 climate action targets.\n\nNorth Celtic Sea will generate clean electricity for over 500\,000 homes and businesses in the south east region and beyond.\n\n\n\nWe are currently undertaking environmental studies and site investigations for the North Celtic Sea project. The information gathered during these investigations will help identify and refine a suitable location for the proposed project.\n\n\n\nThe Dungarvan & West Waterford Chamber has organised an exclusive meeting for Chamber Members with representatives from the project team.\n\n\n\nPlease join on Fri 23 September at 11 am for an online meeting where you can hear about the plans first hand.
