International Women’s Day - The Business of Wellness

An exciting evening has been planned for the women connected to business in Dungarvan & West Waterford. Our headline speaker is Aisling Larkin.ie TV Chef, Mindful Eating Coach & Influencer. Aisling will talk about her rise in the Media/ Food industry, lessons learned, challenges encountered, how mindful based eating can enhance our wellness, how to manage an online presence and tips to engage your audience.

Plant scientist Louise, owner of Sunfleck (Ireland's Natural Support Shop) will present plants that help with sleep, anxiety, sinuses, gut health and stress. With the huge amount of scientific research on the benefits of nature Louise will discuss how bringing nature indoors with greenery, aromatherapy and herbs improves our wellbeing.

Sarah from Aspire Physiotherapy is a Specialist Pelvic Health Chartered Physiotherapist and will discuss women’s posture and health for all ages & stages, the benefits of strengthen exercises, keeping mobile and consistency enhances our health and wellbeing.

Aisling Larkin.ie, Sunfleck and Aspire Physiotherapy are led by female entrepreneurs who are in the business of wellness, an industry on the cusp of a wave. They will share with guests how they connect into this industry and stand out within it.

There will be finger food created by Aisling, cocktails & mocktails and a heap of positive energy in a truly supportive environment that will celebrate wellness for women on International Women’s Day.

Sunfleck – Louise Ryan, owner of Sunfleck, was always fascinated by nature and it was what led her to study Science in NUIG where she specialised in Botany and Zoology for 4 years with a further 2 year Masters of Plant Science in UCC. Louise loves researching and learning new topics especially anything related to nature, improving our wellbeing and how to be environmentally conscious. The combination of passion, plants and natural products lead to the opening of Sunfleck, a special, unique and new type of ‘Natural Support’ shop.
