Training for Directors & Trustees of Boards - Part Two
Training Takes place over two sessions on the 31st January & 7th of February
Back by demand - This training provides a comprehensive overview of the role and responsibilities of not-for-profit board directors/charity trustees and is tailored towards prospective, new, and existing board trustees/directors looking to strengthen their role on the Board. The training will cover charity and company law, board meetings, board papers, board relationships, the Charity Regulator’s Governance Code, reviewing the board, and succession planning. This training is Certified by The CPD Certification Service. This training amounts to 5 CPD Hours.
The training has a not-for-profit/charity focus, however the content is also relevant to those on corporate boards as well (when talking about company law, board behaviours, board meetings, etc.). In the past Boardmatch have trained attendees who were not on charity boards, although there is a charity board/non-executive director focus.
Please note that this course has been tailored for Dungarvan and West Waterford Chamber, to be spread over two days instead of one day. In order to be eligible for 5 CPD hours, individuals must attend both days in full. The course is certified by The CPD Certification Service. Please find the provisional schedule below (division of topics over each day are subject to change).
There is strong demand for this training. Bookings are already underway so please secure your place now in order to avoid disappointment.
