About Us

The Lady Belle is one the oldest pub in Dungarvan, dating back to when the square was built by Duke of Devonshire in 1820. The Lady Belle name originates from a merchant steamer which operated out of Dungarvan many years ago. The steamer was unfortunately bombed outside Cardiff during the second World War but thankfully no lives were lost. Some old photos can be found on the walls of the pub of what life was like in Dungarvan, 200 years ago.

The Lady Belle is in the heart of the square where many people come together to share a drink and enjoy the music.

When you think of Dungarvan, people think of the greenway, music and food. Here in the Lady Belle, we have all that and more under one roof.
