About Us

Waterford Libraries has 12 public branches spread throughout Waterford City and County, with a centrally located headquarters on the outskirts of Waterford City.

Our libraries are regularly used by 16,000 members and record in excess of 500,000 visits and 500,000 loans annually. Library Membership is FREE and open to everyone.

We are part of the Libraries Ireland network, allowing you to use your library card in any public library around Ireland. Your local library branch offers books, DVDs, newspapers, magazines and community events for all ages.

Waterford Libraries provide all users with a wide range of free online services including eBooks, eAudiobooks, eMagazines, online courses, local history research and online newspapers.
