'' The Solas Cancer Support Centre offers free support to those affected by cancer, their families and carers in Waterford and the South East in a purpose built Centre in Ardkeen, Waterford City. The charity was founded in 1999 and following a massive community fundraising effort the centre opened in 2011.
The support services include counselling, relaxation therapies and group support. Since it opened its doors 5 years age over 2,500 clients have used the Centre. In September this year a new West Waterford service will open based in The Dungarvan Alternative Health Clinic at 12 Main Street, Dungarvan.
